The short answer, is Allison DuBois Photography is a family photographer in St. Louis, Missouri. (Formally, Colorado Springs, Colorado -- and still travels to photograph there!)

There is a longer answer, however.  In the process of learning how to be a photographer, I took a photo a day for a year. Twice in fact.  This discipline taught me to look for God in the details, and beauty in the everyday.  I believe this practice taught me how to see.

I love chasing light and shooting directly into the sun. I believe photo sessions should be fun. The best photographs capture a person's character and authenticity, and a family's unique relationships and  love.
